      CV

I am a final-year Ph.D student at Syracuse University, supervised by Prof. Bryan S. Kim. Before I came here, I was a graduate student at Washington University in St. Louis, supervised by Prof. Christopher D. Gill. I served as an intern at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

I work on File and storage systems, Solid state drives, Operating systems, Green computing and sustainability. My research philosophy is to imbue minimal yet meaningful knowledge into various layers of the I/O stack, thereby enabling a more efficient, synergistic, and adaptive storage ecosystem.

If you're interested in my research or just want to chat, feel free to reach out (zjiao04@syr.edu). I'm always happy to connect.
